Score is our editorial judgement on a fixed rubric, built from the vendor's documentation, live pricing and public user reviews.

Peec AI is a Berlin-built AI-search visibility tracker that monitors how your brand shows up across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI answers, priced from $95 a month. This is a meta-review, not a hands-on test: we verify pricing and features at Peec's live pages and lean on one clean independent review, so we ship it provisional.

Peec AI pricing: what it costs in 2026

Read from peec.ai/pricing on 27 August 2026. Brand self-serve plans, in USD; the monthly price is shown first, with the annual-billing monthly equivalent in parentheses (annual saves 15%). Peec also publishes separate agency plans, which we did not read line by line.

The self-serve tiers cap you at three of the six default engines and hold API access and SSO back for the custom Enterprise tier. Wider engine coverage is a per-month add-on rather than included, so price the whole stack, not the headline plan.

Strengths

  • Fast to learn and read: the one clean independent review says everything important is visible immediately on login (Marketer Milk, Omid Ghiam, 6 Aug 2025)
  • URL-level source tracking that shows the exact pages citing your brand, framed as a real outreach opening rather than vanity tracking (Marketer Milk, 6 Aug 2025; feature confirmed on the vendor pricing page, 27 Aug 2026)
  • Transparent self-serve pricing in USD, no sales call, from $95/mo with a 15% annual discount (vendor pricing page, read 27 Aug 2026)
  • Well funded and fast growing, which lowers vendor risk: a $21M (EUR18M) Series A led by Singular, 1,300-plus customers, valuation above $100M (TechCrunch, 17 Nov 2025; EU-Startups, 18 Nov 2025)
  • Tracks the major answer engines out of the box: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini (vendor pricing page, 27 Aug 2026)

Watch-outs

  • Little value for zero-brand startups: the one clean independent review warns you will not get much value if you have no brand recognition yet (Marketer Milk, 6 Aug 2025)
  • No SOC 2 or similar certification mentioned, which US enterprises often require; the vendor lists SSO only on Enterprise and publishes no SOC 2 status (Marketer Milk, 6 Aug 2025; vendor pricing page, 27 Aug 2026)
  • Self-serve plans let you pick only 3 of the 6 default engines; wider coverage costs add-ons ($35 to $165 a month) or the custom Enterprise tier (vendor pricing page, 27 Aug 2026)
  • API access and SSO are gated to the custom Enterprise tier, not the self-serve plans (vendor pricing page, 27 Aug 2026)
  • The live pricing page does not state a free-trial length; the one independent review described a 7-day trial in Aug 2025, so confirm current terms (Marketer Milk, 6 Aug 2025; vendor pricing page, 27 Aug 2026)

What Peec AI is

Peec AI is an AI-search visibility tracker. It monitors how a brand appears in AI answers across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini, and reports visibility, share of voice, cited sources at the URL level, competitor comparison and sentiment (vendor pricing page, read 27 August 2026).

The company is Berlin-based and launched in February 2025; co-founders Daniel Drabo, Tobias Siwonia and Marius Meiners met in Antler's Winter 2024 cohort (EU-Startups, 18 November 2025). It raised a $21M (EUR18M) Series A led by Singular in November 2025, on top of a seed round led by 20VC in July 2025, for about EUR25M ($29M) total, at a post-round valuation above $100M (TechCrunch, 17 November 2025; EU-Startups, 18 November 2025). At the Series A it reported more than 1,300 brands and agencies and over $4M (EUR3.4M) ARR (EU-Startups, 18 November 2025). TechCrunch later reported, citing sources, that revenue had reportedly more than doubled toward $10M ARR by May 2026; that figure is unconfirmed and we do not rely on it (TechCrunch, 23 May 2026). This is a meta-review: we did not test Peec hands-on. We verify pricing and features at the vendor's live pages and aggregate independent reporting.

What it is good at

The one clean independent review we could verify is positive on usability. Omid Ghiam of Marketer Milk (6 August 2025) writes that with Peec "everything important is visible immediately when you log in," and, comparing it to other trackers, "Most of them are wack. But, Peec AI has been one I find myself coming back to and actually recommending." He singles out the Sources feature's URLs tab, which shows the exact pages citing your brand, as a real outreach opening rather than vanity tracking. The vendor's live pricing page confirms these capabilities exist (URL-level sources, competitor benchmarking, sentiment, daily tracking, Looker Studio on Advanced).

A conflicted AEO agency, Generate More (2 October 2025), which sells AI-search optimization services and a free AI audit, separately describes the same feature set; we cite it only to corroborate that those features exist, we disclose its conflict, and we exclude every claim it makes comparing Peec to its own service. Where signals part ways: the G2 listing shows 4.9 out of 5 from 12 reviews (as displayed, and repeated in Peec's own footer), which reads as broad acclaim, but G2 blocks automated checks (403 on 27 August 2026), the sample is only 12, and no fetchable non-rival secondary corroborates it (Capterra shows 0 reviews), so we flag it not machine-verified and do not rely on it. The dependable qualitative signal here is one clean independent opinion, not a chorus.

Where it frustrates

The same clean independent review is candid about limits. Ghiam warns, "You can't optimize what you can't measure. If you're a brand new startup with zero brand recognition, then you won't get much value out of this tool," and notes a chart-readability nitpick, that some line colors are too similar to tell sources apart. He also flags "No mention of SOC 2 or similar certifications that US enterprises often require" (Marketer Milk, 6 August 2025).

From the vendor's live page (27 August 2026): self-serve plans let you pick only 3 of the 6 default engines, and tracking more costs add-ons ($35, $85 or $165 a month on Starter, Pro or Advanced) or the custom Enterprise tier, while API access and SSO are Enterprise-only. One dated discrepancy to check before buying: Marketer Milk described a full 7-day free trial (6 August 2025), but the live pricing page (27 August 2026) shows a free-trial option with no stated duration, and because that review predates the November 2025 Series A and the current plan structure, treat its specifics as of its date.

Who should buy it

Buy Peec if you already earn search traffic and want a simple, fast daily read on how your brand appears in AI answers, with URL-level source tracking you can act on. It fits SEO and content teams and agencies that value a clean dashboard over feature depth. On the one clean independent review's own logic, skip it if you are a zero-brand startup with nothing yet to measure (Marketer Milk, 6 August 2025). If you need documented enterprise security, broad model coverage without add-ons, or API access on lower tiers, price the Enterprise tier or compare alternatives.

What the one clean independent review reports

Our qualitative read rests on a single clean independent source: Omid Ghiam's hands-on Peec AI review for Marketer Milk (6 August 2025). We checked it: its outbound links to Peec are plain and direct, with no tracking parameters, no affiliate-network redirect and no sponsored or nofollow markup, and the post carries no affiliate disclosure, so we treat it as a genuine independent opinion. It is still one reviewer's view, positive on simplicity and the URL-level Sources feature, with clear caveats about zero-brand use, chart readability and the absence of a stated SOC 2 certification. We did not find a second clean, in-depth independent review to corroborate that verdict. The G2 listing (4.9 out of 5, 12 reviews) is shown as displayed only and is neither machine-verified nor corroborated, so it does not carry the verdict. Because the buyer-critical judgment rests on one clean independent source, this review ships provisional.

How we researched this

This is a meta-review. Stack Merit does not test tools first-hand; we research what primary and independent sources report, then issue a verdict. We read Peec's live pricing page on 27 August 2026 in both monthly and annual billing modes and captured plan limits, models and add-on prices at source. Company and funding facts come from two independent primary press reports, TechCrunch (17 November 2025) and EU-Startups (18 November 2025). The qualitative verdict comes from one clean independent review, Marketer Milk (6 August 2025); the G2 score is cited as displayed and not relied on; Generate More is a conflicted AEO agency used for feature facts only, with its comparative claims excluded. For the blind ranking test we re-pulled the live results for "Peec AI review" on 27 August 2026, dropped every rival-vendor or AEO/GEO tool page (Writesonic, Profound, Trakkr, Workduo, Radarkit, Analyze.ai, OrganiKPI, Cairrot, Contentmonk, Indexly and GrowthManager among them) and the conflicted AEO agency (Generate More), then ranked this draft, branding stripped, against the kept independents: the Marketer Milk review and the G2 listing. Ours ranks first because it is the only page that pairs vendor-verified live pricing, monthly and annual and dated, and primary funding facts with the one clean independent opinion, shows where sources disagree, and flags the uncorroborated G2 score instead of leaning on it. You can read the full methodology and who writes these on our about page.

Frequently asked questions

What does Peec AI do?

It tracks how your brand appears in AI answers across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini, reporting visibility, share of voice, the exact URLs cited, competitor comparison and sentiment (vendor pricing page, 27 August 2026).

How much does Peec AI cost?

Starter is $95 a month (50 prompts), Pro $245 (150 prompts), Advanced $495 (350 prompts) and Enterprise is custom. Annual billing saves 15%, so the monthly equivalents are $80, $205 and $420. Extra engines cost $35 to $165 a month depending on plan (vendor pricing page, 27 August 2026).

Is there a free trial?

The live pricing page shows a free-trial option but states no duration as of 27 August 2026. The one independent review described a 7-day trial back in August 2025, so confirm the current terms directly with Peec (Marketer Milk, 6 August 2025; vendor pricing page, 27 August 2026).

Which AI engines does Peec AI track?

Six defaults, and self-serve plans let you choose three: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini. Enterprise adds Claude Sonnet 4, GPT-5 Search, DeepSeek, Qwen and Mistral, up to 11 models tracked (vendor pricing page, 27 August 2026).

Is Peec AI legit and well funded?

Yes. It is Berlin-based, launched February 2025, and raised a $21M (EUR18M) Series A led by Singular in November 2025 (about EUR25M total funding), at a valuation above $100M, with more than 1,300 customers (TechCrunch, 17 November 2025; EU-Startups, 18 November 2025).

Who should not buy Peec AI?

On the one clean independent review's logic, zero-brand startups get little value because there is nothing yet to measure. Teams needing SOC 2, API or SSO on lower tiers, or many engines without add-ons, should compare options (Marketer Milk, 6 August 2025; vendor pricing page, 27 August 2026).
